ABORTION SHOULD NOT BE LEGALIZED!

We know that abortion in Indonesia now is reaching an alarming level. It is because more than 2.3 million abortions occur in Indonesia each year. So that why the problem of the illegal practice abortion needs to be given serious attention by the government and society. In here I have been arguing that abortion should not be legalized and I have three reasons to support my opinion.

Firstly, Abortion is immoral because it means taking someone life’s which God forbide us to do. It is a crime against life. We ought not to take someone’s life because every one is born to have. No woman has the right to kill a new living being because actually, we can’t interrupt die or life someone, and they also have right to life on this world. So we must not kill them but we must protect them.

Secondly, Abortion not only kills the baby but it ? also dangerous for a mother’s live. It ? because most of the abortions were unsafe. The data of WHO say that 15%-50% mother’s death is caused by unsafe abortion. From 20 million unsafe abortion was be found that 70.000 woman is death. It can occur because unsafe abortion can suffered an infection or internal bleeding. Many complications ? also common after an abortion, like inflammation of the reproductive organs. And more of them, the abortion can also increases the risk of breast cancer. So, actually unsafe abortion is very-very dangerous for a mother’s live.

My last argument is, if abortion be legalized, I think abortion clinic will increase. And if it really occur I think will more again the teenager who doing free sex. Why? It because very easy for the girl who conduct free sex to find the place to do abortion. Unmarried couple have problem if they do free sex and they forget to use contraception tools certainly they do not want that pregnancy because many reasons such as, they do not want to feel ashamed because pregnant before married, and certainly they do not want if their parents is know that their son/daughter do free sex. So, finally they will chose abortion as way to solve their problem.

Based that reasons, I think we should not legalized abortion, and I have some recommendation about it, such as:

1.The government should give better and cheap contraception tools. It because many unwanted pregnancy is occur because contraception tools which not good and generally it is expensive.

2. It will be better if government or health department give sex education through school and it can do every three month once.
